Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy

Pain relief clinical massage deals with a variety of pathologies (as listed below). Your clinical massage, depending on your needs, may incorporate some or all of the following.  - Deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, hot stones, advanced stretching and lymphatic drainage. We may also suggest supporting modalities and home exercises if needed.

Each clinical massage will be tailored to focus on what is needed by the client.  An assessment will be given before each massage. Typically, as a guideline, many types of pain can be treated in 3-6 weekly clinical massage sessions. This will be discussed at your consultation. You will also be given home care exercises to do to support your treatment. Clinical massage is ideal for any type of back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, headaches, hip pain, leg pain or arm pain and any pathologies you may be suffering from. If you are in pain, come and see me!

Pain and tension do not only come from strain, injury or tension in a muscle, but also from internal imbalances of the body as well as previous and present emotional stresses and trauma.

Trigger Point
Pain Relief Massage

When the pain has eased I advise monthly maintenance massage, as your body will be under constant strain which will lead to loss of agility and more pain. It is much better to take preventative action instead of waiting until you are suffering and your body is compromised.
